Cookie Policy.

What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device the first time you visit it. Cookies let a site remember things between page loads (for example, that a session is open) and let analytics tools count visits without re-counting you on every click. Similar technologies such as local storage and pixel tags work in comparable ways.
What this site uses
This site is a screen-only marketing surface. It does not host any contact form, account, e-commerce checkout, or advertising slot, so there is no commercial reason to set tracking cookies. The only cookies the site itself sets are essential ones used to keep the page functioning correctly during a visit.
Categories in plain English
Strictly necessary. These cookies are required for the page to load and render correctly. They include a transient session identifier set by the underlying web framework. Disabling them would prevent basic site features from working. Because they are essential, consent is not requested for these cookies under most privacy regimes.
Analytics. The site uses Umami, a privacy-respecting analytics tool that is configured in cookie-less mode. It records anonymous, aggregate page-view and referrer information to help the operator understand which writing resonates with readers. It does not set a tracking cookie, does not collect personal identifiers, and does not share data with advertising networks.
Advertising / retargeting. None. This site does not run advertising, does not participate in retargeting networks, and does not set cookies for those purposes.
Third-party. When you click an outbound link to CallGualter.com, Facebook, or any other third-party service, that destination site may set its own cookies independently of this one. We do not control those cookies. Their use is governed by the privacy and cookie policies of those operators.
Your choices
You can control or delete cookies at any time using your browser's settings, typically under "Privacy" or "Site Data." You can also browse this site in your browser's private or incognito mode, which discards cookies when you close the window.
Because this site does not depend on any non-essential cookies, blocking them in your browser will not break the reading experience.
Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry consensus on how that signal should be honored, but because this site does not engage in cross-site tracking in the first place, the practical answer is simple: regardless of whether the signal is sent, you are not tracked across other sites from here.
Changes
If the cookie posture of the site changes (for example, if a future feature requires a new category of cookie), this page will be updated and the "Effective" date at the top revised.
